 What is Off Page SEO

Off page SEO is also called link building or backlinks. In this, we submit our website or webpage to another site. This is done for two reasons: for the crawler and the user.

Talking about the user, whenever we submit our website with content and contact details on any website, then users read our content and visit our website or webpage. One benefit of backlinks is that we can bring traffic from other websites to our website.

Talking about the crawler, Whenever we submit our website with content and contact details on any website, a new page is created on that website and its link is called a live link. A crawler comes to crawl the page and because our website is mentioned on that website, the crawler also comes to our website and crawls our website again. Its second advantage is that We can bring a crawler to our website so that Google trusts our website and the chances of our website getting ranked increases.

There are two types of backlinks that we get from other websites.

Do Follow: Do follow backlink is for crawlers which tells crawlers to crawl this link

No Follow: No follow backlink is for crawlers which tells crawlers not to crawl this link

What are DA and PA and on which link should I create a backlink?

DA and PA of the website play an important role in creating backlinks, which tells us the chances of ranking the website on Google and the reputation of the website on Google. That is why it is said that backlinks should be created only on websites with high DA and PA.

This is the concept of Moz which tells us which website has a good reputation on Google and what the criteria are to rank on Google but Google says that Google does not accept this, this is just the concept of Moz which Google does not follow.

So in short, a Backlink should be created on the link that has a higher DA PA. but I don’t think so

According to me Which backlinks are useful for us?

I think, It does not matter which website has high DA or PA, matters is that Google has crawled and indexed the link or not, because if we have just created a link and Google has not crawled and indexed that link, then the crawler will not be able to come to our website or web page and will not crawl our website.

It doesn’t matter how good the link we are creating matters if the crawler crawled our link or not because if the crawler does not crawl our link then that link is not useful for us. The main purpose of backlinks is to bring crawlers to our target URL.

Example: We have created 2 links, one is high DA, PA and one is low DA, PA. If our high DA, PA link is not indexed and the low DA, PA link is indexed then for us the low DA, PA link is more important than the high DA link.

On the other hand, if our link with low DA, PA is not indexed and the link with high DA, PA is indexed then the link with high DA, PA is more important for us than the link with low DA, PA.

What happens when Google indexes our backlinks?

When Google indexes our backlink, it ranks on Google. The crawler comes and crawls it again and again and if it is a do-follow link then the crawler also comes and crawls our website again and again due to which Google builds trust on our website and the chances of ranking also increase.

Conclusion: A Backlink is a link where we submit our business details including our website. It will be beneficial for us if that link is indexed. Once a backlink is indexed then crawlers crawl that link again and again and if that link does follow then the crawler will also crawl our website which is targeted on that backlink. With this, the crawler also crawls our website again and again, so that if the website and webpage we have targeted are not indexed, it will get indexed and Google will build trust on our website and it will also help in the ranking of our website.
